Multicultural week

Hello everyone, I am back, I know I didn’t give news, but I had a lot of work. Last week was the multicultural week. I saw my project became alive, it was wonderful. I don’t know if you have been there but it was really great. On Monday it was the Oceania’s day, we organised some testing of Australian’s specialities such as vegemite and other products. Then we organised some activities, such as a quiz on New Zeeland, Australia and other island of the Pacific. This event attracts a lot of people, a lot of local and New Zealander. Everyone enjoy this day. We start at 12.00 to 2.00, short but sweet. The volunteers were really involved in the event, and we shared a wonderful time.
The African day was also a success. We present many products from Africa, but also from some island in the Indian Ocean, such as Mauritius. I was very proud to present my country and the products that we can find in my Island. Several prices for the quiz were from Mauritius, people won minapolo (like migorean in Australia) and others typical products.
All the week was a success, we had well organised every little detail we could, but it was all good. Students and staff enjoy their week, so we achieved our objective. The evaluation of the event was perfect. We had some little issues for some activities, but with the help of the all team, we were rapidly done.
With the mend of the multicultural week, it was also the end of my internship. This experience was very important for me, not just for my academic knowledge, but also as a person. It help me understand more my PR classes, and to see that it was not too hard to put it into practice; then, it help me to become more confidence, and developed my English skill. I really enjoy this internship, and I thing that all diplomas should have one.
Hope you all enjoy yours, good luck for the report!
