Major conference to be held at Limkowking!!
Limkokwing Public Relations office is yet to host a press conference for all media houses inclusive of BTV, GBC, RB2, Gabz fm and thevoice, also with Botswana Tourism to sponsor Miss Limkokwing Botswana . all companies which will be taking part are to benefit massively as their logos and other merchandise will be showcased during the event and also be featured on Limkokwing website.my task here is to prepare an effective speech that i will be citing during the conference. it is basically about the school and Limkokwing's Corporate Social Investment.the main reason is to give companies the highlights of the school and its progress. i have been helping out with proposals to various media houses concerning the conference and the response was positive.i am very enthusiastic about the preparations as this will be my first corporate speech i ever made and my chance to sell Limkokwing well, along with my passion and commitment as a future public relations practitioner.

Sedi now you are taking me back to PR200 whereby we used to write speeches. I know you will be writing your own speech but for knowledge purposes please do it as if it will be marked at the end of the day. Do not forget the inconsequential steps to writing conducive and alluring speech.

There is nothing interesting like writing a speech and i may say you will never go wrong.All you need to remember is that best ones are always short and precise and its up to you to write with your own style to command the attention of the audience.

thanx guys, i had a fabulous time, it was really shocking to see people seating attentively waiting for me to start. i must say we all have stage fright which last for 5sec then you start developing some major confidence, thats if you have the facts well put and yes i got an applause and compliments from my colligues. simple incentives for a good speech is basically making it interesting for the ears, avoid jargon terms, if possible, visuals may be included but you got to be very smart about it.
