My participation - The preparation of the Annual Report

Hope you all doing good...

Just want to share my experiences with you once again...So, to remind you again, am working at the Central Electricity Board.

As the title already tells you, I have been contributing since a while, in drafting the CEB Annual Report for 2009.

In an Annual Report as you must know its all about what the company has been doing or about its past successes and so on...

So far, I was assigned to gather all information related to the Customer Service Department and the Revenue Management Unit. I had gather all information that were to be added to the Annual Report, in relation to 2009 processes and profits that the company made.
As far as the Customer Service Department was concerned I had no great problems to understand, I was quite at ease and keep track of the information obtained as am actually executing in this particular section.

However, I had to walk in many other departments, whereby I was frequently been directed to other responsible parties to get the exact info and obviously accurate updates. I constantly asked questions for me to understand key terms, especially in the Revenue Management Section where I was acquainted to financial and accounting terms.

So in a nutshell, these are all experiences that we all need to go through to finally learn and eventually leave the bad part of it an adopt the good side of whatever we are going through.

We actually get to learn many things in the workplace. We not only focus on PR activities but also end up with beneficial experiences which makes us knowledgeable and enrich our practice for our next job in the future
