End Note – PR practice a world full of change and experience

Hello everyone,
So I suppose nearly everyone who started their internship this are done or about to get done? Right?...

In fact, my PR 393 internship is done but I am still working as a trainee at the Central Electricity Board. So, finally having worked in the PR sector for quite a while, I would say it was an experience full of treasured moments which have considerably bring about much improvements to my abilities and developed much of both my interpersonal and academic skills.

Indeed, this opportunity granted to 3rd year students helped to enable us experience the working horizons, which is somehow one of the most important feature in our lives.
This internship program has essentially enabled me, to put into practice the knowledge and academic learning, acquired from PR lectures and tutors during my three years of study in the field. In fact, I undeniably agree that work experience make a difference. This has enabled me to overcome many challenges as well as given me the opportunity to face the biggest truth of PR responsibilities which is the adherence to tight deadlines.

Having worked on many PR related projects, such as devising surveys, drafting reports, brochures, develop code of ethics, attending meetings and along others, I managed to understand the PR and Communication related task in a better way. I must that by now; I am surely a trained and skilled aspirer in the field.

One thing that I really wanted to do was to organize an event. But unfortunately, that was not possible during those three months of my internship. However, I shall be part of the organizing team of the Customer Service Department headed by the Senior Customer Service Officer to organize an event next month. This would call for a Cocktail party for the CEB staff. So, it would be a good opportunity for me to share my know-how about event plan.

So I’ll end up her hope all of you had a nice experience as I had.
I wish everyone good luck for their final report and encourage the followers’ to strengthen their knowledge by stepping in their internship program soon.

Cheers
Resh
