On that day, the Deputy Lord Mayor, The Honorable John Tognolini, attended the event and conducted the presentations on behalf of the City of Perth. The result of the day which is the Local talent from Royal Freshwater Bay yacht Club has won both of the event in the Laser Full Rig and Laser Radial classes. The athlete who won first place in Laser Radial is Tristan Brown, and Thor Scheonhoff has won first place in Laser Full Rig.
Apart from that, this event is very important for every athletes, because this event is for them to prepare towards the Perth International Regatta which will be held on 16th - 21st November this year (Tuesday - Sunday). *I'm going to be part of the volunteer to help out in that event :)!!!
Anyway, I'm now looking forward the Perth International Regatta and meet the top athletes in the world.

It is really fun just by reading on the description of your post, I think working in a sailing company does provide you an different opportunity among us. It is great that you are able to view the competition and even participate yourself in the competition. Other than that you got to meet the Deputy Lord Mayor, that's something really cool.
Based on the pictures you have posted, It did convinced me to attend Perth International regatta. I will definitely consider about it. Anyway good post and all the best with your remaining days in the sailing company :-)
