Farewell Everyone!

Hi EVERYONE!

Yesterday was my last day at Alzheimer's Australia, but even now thinking back, I'm still can't believe it ended. I'm gonna miss all the friendly colleagues at the office, the days stuck in my little work cubicle, actually feeling productive with something going on other than university. I've to say even though I've some hard time managing university life and the placement, the placement gives me a chance to have a break from the same old assignments-filled life.

My last day felt very much like the other days, only that I have to make sure I get whatever that's in my hands done, make sure I have all the samples of the works I've done during the placement and tried my best to do all I could for the video. Sadly, I was not able to put in the audio track for it. It was the only unfortunate result for my placement. But due to copyright issues, time and technology constraints, I couldn't find the audio suitable for the video. But all in all, this placement has been a great opportunity. Not to mention, I got a free lunch treat from my mentor, Joel.

I realised through my placement that PR is not as simple as what we learnt and do in school. It consists of much more details in planning. It's very important to think ahead in the planning process as well. There are definitely more challenges ahead for us, the future practitioners! Let's all do our best and good luck to all that is still doing their placement!=)

Lastly, THANK YOU for all the interesting entries you guys have put up, with one more semester to go before I graduate, these really encourage me to get a placement opportunity again next year on my own! I hope to gain more experiences and familiar myself with the PR industry even before I step out into the working world. Wish me luck!

CHEERS!

xoxo
