· Hello everyone, my name is Kefilwe Game Ashley Rantlhoiwa from LIMS. I am currently working at Thirtyfour which designs and sells handbags, you can check it out at www.thirtyfour.net .People have always had this conceptualized notion that PR is all about big companies, money makers, working either with the media to make an image or even with traces or advertising or marketing but I have realized that that’s not entirely what PR is. What PR is, maybe dusting your boss`s desk , bringing her a cup or tea , filling some papers for her or even arranging her desk , before you make a name for your company / brand one have to make a name for oneself . To pass the test in this area is a visible proof that you will withstand when the brand`s name is on the rocks and surpass the pressures and all , I have a great boss but I had to put in remembrance the concept of professionalism due to the fact that these Folks are not family nor friends but teamwork and productivity is the keywords , so I have to accommodate and accept our differences so that the goals and objectives are achieved, during my interview for this job my boss told me I have to have the brand`s name at heart and it never really sunk into me, but I crossed a phase where I had to care for that brand`s reputation more than I do for my cat and it brought a sense of responsibility and obligation that I barely felt for my studies but maybe because I have been in school for decades .To know that I am not a business partner and someone else is counting on me made me enjoy my work even more , but in reality some days are just better than others .
