Whoever you are, wherever you are, public relations makes a difference in your life - believe it or not.
Did you know that half or more of everything you read, see and hear in the media was put there through the actions of public relations? I have realise that PR has an effect on the information we get everyday in our life. Before studying mass comm, i knew what pr was all about but its only now after getting back to the world of work to do my internship that i really realise what it really is.
My internship in the President's Office of Seychelles has given the chance to put into practice what i have learn in the Public Relation module. Even if i was working before, i can honestly say that it really makes a difference when you actually study this subject.
I felt a bit weird at first going back to work, but in no time i poured myself into giving the best.

It is very interesting to know that you can still go back to school and learn valuable things that can help you out at work later on.
Especially in PR there are always new things to learn about and it's a great thing to go back and learn things that will help you out in your work later on.
I find it fascinating that such things can be learnt and still implemented at work again.
I cnt agree with you more, PR is applied evryday in the corporate world and its high time it is given rightful recognition as a profession. Even though my studies and actually stepping out in the industry rubbed shoulders i managed to link my education and fall into place. PR needs an intelectual mind,skillful and creative.
