WHAT KEEPS IT ALL TOGETHER

I have come to notice that some of these little general courtesies keeps things together even in the work place. Teamwork, Planning, Punctuality, Communication, Professionalism.

Professionalism is very significant to remind workers to learn to not mix business with pleasure. During lunch breaks, after office hours, the employees at Mongoose would actually tease and play with each other, but once work resumes, everyone acts professional and remain serious and concentrate on their tasks.

Additionally, good communication in Mongoose has enabled the workers to work together as a team with mutual understanding of issues they are dealing with. I have observed that even the upper management has good relationships with the employees, which makes it even simpler and easy to communicate with. Moreover, “Punctuality is crucial in the workplace. Time is a valuable resource and for latecomers who do not see its value, it could mean losing a sale, a perspective client or a career opportunity. The reason for this is obvious – tardiness creates the impression of poor time management and unreliability.” (Article dashboard 2010). Furthermore, “planning is also essential in the running of a successful business as the business representatives can avoid problems that might develop when the business takes off.”(MY Government Portal 2011). Team work is rather crucial as well; it has many benefits other than trust, loyalty and even making jobs easier. With good teamwork, work becomes easy when heads come together to come up with something solid.
