THEMING AND EVENT DESIGN

In events managemnt on of the most important stages in planning is coming up with a theme for a given brief of the event. In the book Festival & Special Event Management they explain how it is the concept that gives an event a unique character from all the many others that might have been done before. And at Red Archer they worked by the method of creating a concept to answer the brief provided by the client as to what they want their event to be like. An event is a rememberable occasion, carefully crafted to send out an impact on the person who’s attended it. (Julia R, 2004. p 3)

We looked into the clients proposal, what is it that they wanted. After that we set out the ideas , detailing out all the possible things that they could possibly be looking at to help them come up with the objectives for their launch. And during my intern after a concept was decided I would then be asked to go on and source on contarctors, models and any other pieces of information that would help in planning for the event.
