I am now 11 days into my placement and have been lucky enough to be involved in a variety of different PR activities. this is the great thing about working with a consultancy, they have different clients so the PR is in varying forms.
Linc handle the PR for Garden City Shopping Centre (GCSC) and I was able to help with the organisation and running of the opening of a G Star Raw store at GCSC. On Thursday 4 August we held the launch event which featured live manequins in G Star Raw gear, a string trio, delightful canpes and lots of sparkiling and flat wine (for the guests). Among the guests were Fremantle Dockers, Eagles, fashion editors and photographers and the Perth girls who starred on The Amazing Race. It was a very busy evening and the event went very well. It was great to get some event organising/management experience.
