Hi everyone
Well, my last week was fun and well spent at ASTRO (All Asia Broadcasting Centre). I was sent off to ASTRO as a study tour for four days, two days spent on the radio stations and the other two days on the television stations. I had fun and learnt a lot of new things I did not know there. I visited the satellite acquiring rooms, editing rooms, news room and at the radio side I spent much time with the Hitz fm staff of which I had the chance to plan their morning show with. This was a great opportunity for me to learn because ASTRO is the biggest broadcasting centre n Malaysia and I did thank my boss for such an honor.
My very last day, it was not easy for me to say goodbye with a smile because I really liked working with ABU staff; I was so sad that I was leaving and would just love to give thanks to all of the staff members there for giving me a chance as a student to learn. Knowledge is power!

I can tell you had a great placement at ABU and you seem to have had a lot of fun during the program. It was really a hands on opportunity working with them. Your study tour might have opened your eyes to learn more about the media industry in the real world. I hope by now you are ready to join the industry as soon as you finish your studies.
