Hey guys, like so many of you on this blog, I've finally wrapped up my work experience. It took me a little longer but I'm so glad I got there in the end. This work placement have been such an eye opener, it has taught me things they don't teach in the text books.
As I mention in my previous blogs, I worked for UON, which is not a PR firm. However UON does have a marketing department, which is where I did my work experience in. During that time I did various tasks that helped gain a better understanding of the ins and out of corporate lifestyle. In terms of PR activities, I've help out in employee communications, event management, media relations, as well as some general office duties.
This has been a great learning curve for me, and I hope it can help me in my future career. Anyway all the best to you all, good luck on your final reports and exams.

Hey Sean,
Sounds like you got a great taste of a variety of different fields in the corporate communications world. Do you think you will stick to PR? Or pursue other avenues such as marketing or events?
