Morning bloggers!
Well what a busy and exciting time the last few weeks has been with Perth Fashion Festival 2011 coming to a close. The week of the festival commencing 21st September and finishing 27th September was an intense seven days but well worth the stress!
Muse Bureau produced five of the shows at the festival which we were lucky enough to attend and be a part of as well as take part in the massive preparation that goes into producing an event!
The shows that we produced included:
- Aurelio Costarella VIP Opening Night
- Designer Capsule #1
- Story By Tang
- Designer Capsule #3
- Wheels & Dollbaby (closing night)
Preparing for these events involved doing things such as choosing music for the runway shows, organising props, visuals, lighting and effects, casting models, putting together schedules and much, much more!
I definitely learnt a lot of organisational skills and the importance of having every minor detail timed down to a specific second in order for everything to run on time without a glitch. The necessity of a running sheet became crystal clear!
In this industry preparation is key and being prepared for every possible outcome is a must and working cooperatively in a team is essential.
Stay tuned for my final blog from Muse Bureau!

hi Olivia
I can tell you had a great time at the Perth fashion festival 2011. Preparations for events are always stressful. Its always worth the stress because at the end you will enjoy the results of your hardwork. I believe you learnt a lot during the preparations of the event and in the 7 days you attended the festival.
wishing you the best of all in your work.

Hi Olivia,
Sounds like you have been having such a great time at your internship!
It is interesting to read what you have been doing on site at Perth Fashion Festival, as I know that at my internship we have been doing some behind the scenes work for PFF!
Baci is on of Details clients, and as Baci is sponsporing some PFF shows, the office has been dealing with a large number of PFF organisers.
Goodluck with the rest of your internship :)

Hi Olivia,
Sounds like you had a fantastic time at Muse and the events you assisted in producing! Events are always stressful when you're organizing them but it sounds like all that hard work paid off!
It's great to be able to hear that all of your hard work at uni is paying off and the theory is really helping you out!
All the best for the rest of the internship!
Victoria
