Live Book Saved My Life

Greetings everyone,

This is my third post. Every three months, Imperial Hotel will come out with a book that includes all the upcoming promotions and events. This book is called the Live Book. Overall, one of my colleague, Elin (Jr, Advertising and Promotion Executive), she was the one who are in-charged of every single details in this book, collaborating with the sister hotel of Imperial Hotel, the Imperial Palace Hotel. Both hotels are promoting their products and services, foods and beverages. As I felt I need to push myself harder to gain more experiences, I requested my manager to put me on some project, working together with Elin.

And so, he asked me to manage the Imperial Hotel Facebook page, this is because Elin had her hands all tight up with the new Live Book designs and promotions, she had me to handle the page for her. Since then, she made me one of the admin of the Facebook page, and let me posted out all the current event going on in the hotel.

Given the opportunities working together with her, I had the chance to attend the press release of the launching of the new Live Book for the month of April, May, and June. We had luncheon with the press from the United Daily News and also the Borneo Post. All served were the dishes that will be promoted in the next Live Book.

I am so excited to be involved in every way, I thanked Elin for everything. Without her, I would have stuck at my desks, answering calls and emails all day and repeating the same tasks over and over again. At least, she have given me some challenging things to do.
