Bringing what I've learned back home

Leaving Perth, Bentley late in 2011, to bring all I've learned from my University life at Curtin back to Hong Kong was one of the biggest decision in my life.

Due to many personal factors, I was sadly unable to continue living in Australia. However, I stepped forward to my first-ever Public Relations role at the Hong Kong Professional Rehabilition and Nursing Centre, as a Part-Time Public Relations Assistant employed since December, 2011.

During my first week in the placement, I needed to work from 9am to around 10pm every working day, mainly to provide admistrative support to the department. I was unclear if that will be a great experience for my practice.

I needed to file exsiting documents of the department into seperate folders by dates and priority, proofread some exisitng in-house documents, and update data to the computer system.

To be honest, it was quite boring to look at the documents every day, but I understand administrative work is essential in every department and industry. So I kept up and longed to explore further!

Read my blogs to see the changes :)
