Go Go Retro - Post event

Post Go Go Retro Perth is shaping up to be pretty fun. Conversing with my supervisor via email and hearing about the statistical success of our event was pretty rewarding. The blood, swear, hours and tears put into the event was well worth.
As updated in my previous post, my responsibilities within the Go Go events company has doubled. I am not just doing research now but am also in charge of writing the publicity stories for the Go Go Events. My first written assignment was to write the post event story for our Perth event. I may be a Mass Communications student and would not consider Journalism to be a strength of mine, the thought of writing this post publicity piece scared the hell out of me - I almost didn't want to write it. But it was assigned to me and it was my responsibility to get it done.
Writing a post publicity piece is like reporting a story with a human input at the end of the post. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. All you needed in your post piece are facts - Number of people attended, when it happened, where it happened and the event goers reactions. As long as you included those information, your post publicity piece should be considered done.
Expecting to re-do my publicity piece (because I didn't think it was good enough). Surprisingly, my supervisor liked it and asked me to prepare more pieces for our event in Sydney. Well, more writing to do. Onward Go Go Retro Sydney!
