The Launching of Pine Show House

Hello readers, it’s me again. Let me share something with you all today. My mum once said, as people turn older, they tend to confront bigger issues than before, problems of which solutions don’t come easy. Hence, life’s a choice, either u make or break, it’s entirely up to you. Thankfully, the Open Day held a few days back to commemorate Pine Project turned out to be a huge success.
And so, allow me to be your guide for the day to tour you all through Open Day. The morning before the arrival of VIPs and guests was a disaster. My colleagues from the various departments came in the office late even though there were plenty of task yet to be done according to the schedule I set up 2 weeks back. Even, my boss was nowhere to be seen. Hence, I took up the liberty of dividing tasks between those present so that everything can be done accordingly since my colleague and I were the ones who planned the entire Open day with the supervision of my boss.
Luckily, most of the necessary tasks were done despite the short time we had. A short meeting was conjoined before the event officially began. My boss and a few other colleagues took care of the incoming guests whom consisted of reporters, journalists, brokers, bankers, customers etc. while awaiting the arrival of the VIPs.
The opening ceremony finally began when the VIPs arrived. While speeches were given to commemorate the event, I was busy making sure everything was in order including lunch and tea breaks. After the ceremony, the VIPs and other privileged guests were brought on a tour by my boss to sight-see the booths and exhibition hall. Meanwhile, I was in charge of handling the incoming guests alongside with colleagues from marketing department.
After lunch, again I was asked, in other words demanded by my boss to continue serving the guests crowding the booths and exhibition site. I was in awe when one of the guests I toured with instantaneously placed a booking on the newly launched houses of Pine Project. It was probably due to the practical skills and techniques I have managed to catch on from my PR classes. *Thank you lecturers*

The day ended with the lucky draw event. All in all, it was indeed a whole new experience for me. The older you get, the more responsibilities you have. The things my mum says are somewhat true. I truly thank Naim Land Sdn Bhd to have given me this life-time opportunity to prepare myself mentally before I step out into the real world. I shall save this for my next post then. Oh well, time to sleep. Stay tune next week peeps. Signing out.
