For the past 3 months as an intern in BCB Berhad, i realized that working in the real life is totally different with i studying in school. Working is more challenging as i have to deal with many problem happening in the company and how i settle with the problem. Although i was assigned in Sales and Marketing department, i was glad that i was able to assist my colleagues for their works and each of the projects, even i'm a PR students. As i mentioned in my second post, i had attended the company events (photo competition)during December 2012. It was truly a great experience for me as i also learn that how a company organize an events.
To be work in a property company, it will be very competitive between the same industry especially in the area of development. However, our company is always proposed several projects as to further enhance our corporate image and also to build a good relationship with our stakeholders, employees, customers and existing business partners. I was glad that my supervisor and colleagues are willing to believe me and asked me to help them on several projects. One of the works that i have gained a lot of experience is that i had attended with the customers. It was totally different when i studying in school.Even though there are only a few customer i attend, but i have try my best to explain with them about our projects and i know how to better communication and build a good relationship with them. The most important thing for me is that it make me become more confidence.2 weeks ago, i have attended the company appreciation and thanksgiving dinner at the Prime City Hotel in Kluang,in appreciation to the efforts done by all the employees in the company. We also have invited some of our business partners to attend the dinner.
During the 3 months internship placement, i was happy that i have build a good relationship with my colleagues and conducting my internship placement in BCB Berhad, as all of my colleagues are very friendly and willing to assist me and i had learned a lot from them. I really appreciate for their guidance and advise, as it help me perform better in the future. They even organized a farewell dinner for me after i finish my internship. I really touching that all of my colleagues in Sales and Marketing department had attended the dinner.
This 3 months internship placement was indeed a great experience for me. Even though there are no much PR related work in the company, but i have use my PR knowledge to assist my colleagues in several projects. I hope all of you enjoy internship placement in your choosing company!
