Week 1

It's pretty exciting times starting my work experience, doing corporate communications for Seagull Maritime.

Being in this line, I think I've contracted this skin disease called 'Black Thumb' - a condition that occurs because contractor flips through too many newspapers. I've never flipped through so much press clippings in my life - well, time to start.

Being lowest on the totem pole I guess it's normal to do the scud work that was assigned to me this past week. Moving the tables, photocopying, making coffee, designing a template for the brochure. Aside from that, the people here has been really really nice.

Unlike the guys in my 'class' I don't have to balance class and work but I think I do have to balance not being paid. It's expensive here in Singapore I think I'm going broke.
