This is not the end but the start of a new journey.

Hello people,

Below is a little insight of my last week at work:

Reminiscing the weeks of work at Link to Life, I can proudly say that I made the right choice with regards to finding an internship in a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).  Below is a picture of the locale of Link to Life, where it all started:

During the internship, I started quite slowly, but once the gears were launched, a number of projects were assigned to my person and I was happy to oblige since I felt part of the large family that makes up the “little” organisation.  Also, during the internship what I have learnt is the extent of my abilities as well as my limitations, which I had fun overcoming personally and of course with the help of my colleagues.  Below is a picture of the desk I shared with the assistant project coordinator, a very capable and pleasant person:

On a side note, the experience that I have had within the organisation, the interaction with the different individuals having different characters and abilities made me aware of the fact that communication is very important within an organisation but also in our everyday life.  Being able to communicate a thought effectively to the person you are conversing to, is very important for it might be interpreted differently.

This is it for now folks and good luck to everyone for the forthcoming report.

Godspeed,
Swaraj Nunkoo.

I am glad your internship was an overall success. I too was completing my internship at an NGO and it really is a great kind of setting to work in. The people are very genuine and caring. Yes I too felt the same away about communications in life when I completed my internship. Its so important to maintain that two way communication and we often forget its importance in our day to day lives. Best of luck to your future, you are right, this is the stepping stone to great beginnings!

Your internship at an NGO seems like an enriching experience. NGOs do have many PR needs. Helping NGOs for their PR is not only an exciting experience but one which makes you feel like you have contributed to the society or even made someone's life better.

I am sure that Link to Life will achieve all its goals and objectives.

Good luck to you!
