I cannot believe the confidence that is instilled in me,
I cannot believe that this ride is almost over.
During the past couple of weeks I have found it very hard to deal with the amounting stress and pressure placed on me by everyone in my life. Uni is coming to an end... assignment after assignment after exam... my work life is non-existent, making ends meet seems impossible... and now everyone I speak to asks me what I am going to do after my last exam is over on the 19th of June. . .
I H A V E N O I D E A ! ! !
Is it not bloody terrifying to all of you that this semester is our last (well for most of you) and that you will no longer be able to use the excuse of 'oh well i'm a uni student' to get away with...
1) being poor,
2) to stay at home in your room on a weekend with chocolate, chips and doing yoga all at once,
3) saying you cant afford drinks/entry/dinner so the other person buys it for you (and yes i agree that is a fist-pump-moment!)
I have been spending a lot of time contacting people to create TJL a media/customer database. I had no idea how nerve racking it was to actually call someone and try to squeeze information out that they are more then likely not 100% happy to give you. It's amazing what a little chat, a friendly voice and putting in a little extra effort over the phone does to the relationship building and rapport for a business; it is something I will take with me and use in the professional world.
