Quoted from one of my favourite TV shows, The Office "Dress for the job you want, not the one you have."
At Cockburn Integrated Health, what we wear isn't a crucial part of the job; in the mind of our CEO, wear what you want as long you get the work done.
Clory is the only staff member at Cockburn Integrated Health, which puts a lot of pressure on him, therefore relying heavily on his interns on the public relations and corporate communications departments of the nonprofit organisation.
Our CEO, Clory Carrello, holds meetings with the other intern and I on a regular basis to check on our progress when it comes to the CIH website, newsletter, and brochures. Clory prefers to hold informal meetings rather than formal ones to best express whats exactly on our minds, even if its criticising the current website appearance. He prefers us to be very straight forward with what we think of certain aspects of the organisation and how we can help to improve it.
We also speak quite informally to each other, which makes the working environment very pleasant and easy to work in; he seems to enjoy throwing in the "bloody" adjective before any subject which is pretty funny.
Another issue CIH was facing was the website. It was last updated a year ago when it was first set up and has not been changed since. There were many photos in galleries that were unrelated to the services that Cockburn Integrated Health provides, just heaps and heaps of text and minimal imagery, and I decided it needed a revamp. We wanted to include a lot of imagery and more about the staff members who provide these services rather than just blocks of mundane text.

New site (draft):

Hey
Your title sure did catch the attention for me... the place that I am interning at (Fremantle Press) is a small publication house that is NFP. Reading about your website dramas is something I can relate to! My boss has been having issues back and forth with our website, which we are currently in the process of changing over to a sleeker, easier funcitioning site. So many back and forth issues and little things that you dont realise all add up! Sometimes I spend hours doing taks such as correcting the prices of the books we sell, which in the scheme of things doesnt seem that important but it all adds up doesnt it!
