As I mentioned in my previous post, I completed my internship with Worthy Book based in Kuala Lumpur. Worthy Book is a coupon-book that offers various types of discount and great deals on dining, entertainment, health, beauty services and retail services.
Even though I stated that my internship wasn’t easy in the previous post, somehow I enjoy working with the company. One of my job scopes that I liked the most was to redeem vouchers and use the services. Yes, it was indeed very nice. So in this post, I would like to share my experience redeeming one of the vouchers.
My first task was to redeem a free session of spa treatment with a voucher at Ecoparadise. The most exciting part of this “job” was to redeem the voucher during my working hour (if you could really call it that). This outlet was located nearby my office, so I just walked there and make an appointment a day earlier to ensure there would be an empty slot.

before I get to enjoy the treatment.

The
room was so hot when I first entered. The lady asked me to keep myself hydrated
during the therapy, as I will lose lot of water in this hot room. I kept
sweating but my mind and body felt relaxed.

After
40 minutes of hotbed therapy, I was asked to take a 10 minutes rest before
taking a shower. I felt refreshed and relaxed after having the therapy.

So this is one of my experiences for redeem vouchers. To be
honest, this was my first time trying out a hotbed therapy. I was so lucky that
I got to experience this during my internship. My supervisor told me that
“internship is the only moment you will enjoy working”. Well, it sounded to me like
“working life is hell” (I hope my job will be this cool and fun in the future).

I am absolutely jealous! That seems amazing, you lucky woman! Isn't it daunting how people in the work force tell us how being a university student and intern will be the best days of our lives? It makes me question even leaving uni! I wonder if you are the same?
I feel excited to get working, but all the nine to fivers seem to be preparing us for how lame it will be.
Hopefully we can break the trend.

You never know what you will be doing the next day who
would have though that they would be sent a hotrod
during their internship!
