Hello everyone,
Im Delphine Richard from CTI Mauritius, so here nearly ends my third week which has actually been hectic. Working in a company is still very pleasing for me and im learning a lot more than i ever thought.
At the begining of this week we were told that we should be organising a launching event for la Vallée de Ferney, as the mauritian government is associating itself with Ciel et Nature, a sub company of CIEL Group for which am working. This is why my week was hectic because we had to organise everyrthing, plan the invitations, see who we were going to invite (finding their contact details), design the invitation and plan for their despatchment because the invitations are small plants with an invitation card attached to it and all this for the launching event on the 2 August. It has been a big job to design the cards because we had to plan which logo was to put in front. and which was to put at the back, it is surprising to see how everyone wants his company logo to be on the card, its like a kind of war of logos. And trust me it is difficult to please everyone.
The other part to be organise was the press side, planning the documents to be sent to the media so that they do a good coverage of the event. Both the government and CIEL Group want to have a good coverage of the event it will act as a kind of publicity for them, it is a good way to talk about the race which is planned for september. I realised that everything is done for a reason its like a kind of circle that finally ends up in one thing: having more publicity.
We had also to send all the invitations for the race and this was a big job writing all the information and collecting all the emails to send to the HR managers of local companies.
I hope that everthing continues to run smoothly
Cheers
Delphine Richard
