This is my second time I'm sharing my experience with all of you.
I feel like I'm lacking behind as compared to the rest of my classmates and agree with one of the post here about time management factor. It is important to keep me on track. Its been 8 weeks into the module and I've been given a few special projects while I'm doing my internship.
The most recent event that I'm involved in is the Annual General Meeting for the Band Directors' Association (Singapore) where my boss is serving as a President. I was to assist with the renewal of membership administration preceding to the event itself. It required me to send out official invitation to the current members to invite them for the event. At the same time, I was tasked to come up with a cost saving method to renew the membership card of the current members. This has allowed me to communicate with the stakeholders of the association and gain insights to the industry. As this involves the association that my boss is serving at, I was requested to mention briefly in my report and details are not allowed.
Currently I am working on writing a Company Profile for a new company that my boss that has set up. This company is in the same industry but providing the hardware for the industry. This company profile is for the suppliers that we will be meeting in the upcoming exhibition. In our industry, besides the big players, most of the company do not have a decent company profile or information to communicate with the suppliers. In order for us to better communicate with the prospect stakeholders, I am also preparing on the same information for the corporate website to make our web presence prominent.
Recently I have noted a few issues that will affect or affecting the company. I hope to share more with you in my next post.
