Goodbye Was The Hardest

During the last few days of my internship, the task that was given to me was media filing as well as keeping track on the animals that have already been adopted by calling individuals who have adopted them. This way it will enable SPCA to keep track on the conditions and the well being of the animals. Through this process, I found out that most of the animals are in good homes where as some are not so lucky as I realized how irresponsible certain individuals could be.

When the final day of internship actually came, it was a hard an emotional day for me, as I wasn’t only saying goodbye to the people there but also the animals that I have been so close to during the pas two months. I have sure learned a lot from this organization not just in terms of Public Relations but I also learned a lot about many aspects in life. By working with SPCA I was able to work towards a cause that I had always wanted to work towards. I think that everyone should at least experience how it’s like working for non-profit organizations as there are many values in life that can be learned.

All and all, I really appreciated and enjoyed the time that I was there. I am also very grateful for the different people and animals that I have met and encountered along the way. Through this internship process, it kind of gave me a hint of what I want to do with my life in the future. Even though the time with this organization was short, but the experiences and lessons will stay with me for a long long time.

I see you enjoyed your time with SPCA. I'm glad. ^_^

Getting people to adopt animals must've been quite a joy, I reckon. Saaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy, did you adopt any animals ? :3

I agree with you. goodbye indeed the hardest part.
I personally agree with the part where you mention that we can learn a lot of life values by working in non-profit organization. however, if we want to look deeper even in our daily job, whether it is non-profit or not, i believe that we can find daily life values as well. :)
