Here's a little about work today.
I was asked to write a media release on the HM Bark Endeavour replica’s role in the event, announcing its arrival in December.
A little information on what it’s about:
People who are interested will get a chance to hop onto the big vessel and ‘travel back in time’ to Captain Cook’s days, over 200 years ago. There will also be explanation on how the crew work and live back then.
The Perth 2011 will also be offering a unique corporate offering such as providing an exclusive venue for cocktail parties and corporate functions. And a function, which is the Perth 2011 Corporate Entertainment Programme, will also be held on board the ship, where the public and corporations alike can join in. The ship will be here for more than one year, and will be back at the Australian Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour, in May 2012.
