Hello!
As mentioned in my 3 previous blog entries, I interned at a PR Consultancy ‘Arcis Communications Sdn Bhd’ for a period of 7 weeks.
Relating my Work Experience to the Course Material, I feel both coincided and served necessary as a means of access to the knowledge and skills surrounding the professional PR organization.
If I weren’t able to work under amazing PR professionals as an intern, I’m not sure I would be as knowledgeable as I am now. Learning something new in class is great, but nothing replaces on-the-job training. Internships provide important opportunities to apply what’s learnt in courses, explore career interests, build resume of real-world experience, and develop professional network. Arcis provided this ideal platform to me.
