The past week have been pretty general and monotonous at NRC.
The screening of "Midnight in Paris" will take place on October 30, so I have been working on preparations in the lead up to the movie. My boss and I had watched the film in a private theatrette prior to the preparations. It was my first time in a private theatrette and let's just say I wouldn't mind having one of my own!
Moving on,
I spent the majority of last week organising ticket and brochure mailouts, taking a good 3 hours to complete as we were sending them out to a variety of publics.
Prior to this, I compiled target lists of grass root organisations/group and then notified them of Midnight in Paris.
Other duties included, media monitoring across different publications and clipping coverage for reports. (Tree of Life, Sleeping Beauty, The Beaver)
I was also assigned to 'screen capture' the reviews on the films I mentioned above from different sites such as Access Reel, The West Online and Movie Hound The Couch, compile them and then convert them to PDF files.
That's it for this post!
Hope everyone's having a good time with their placements :)
Natasha
