News For You, Not For All..

Hello dear friends,

so far am living one of the most awesome but time consuming experience. Am sure you will agree that having to juggle between studies and internship is not always easy. But in such situation the golden words are: TIME MANAGEMENT.

Since the very first day, i already knew that it would not be easy, but hopefully throughout our university life being able to meet deadlines was a must. Therefore, meeting deadlines during my internship was not always easy but not impossible.

When I started my internship, we were in one of the most important moment for the organisation.  The recruitment process.

The first day I was involve in the physical promotion, which was to promote the organisation on our university campus and at the same time do some photo shooting, which will later be posted online.

Two-way participation: Encourage people to write their name, the country they want to visit and why.

However, the most difficult but also fruitful experience was looking for a media placement for our article. Redrafting the media release was not really difficult, thanks to my journalism lecturer, i was prepared for it. But i would never have imagine how difficult it was to look for media placement.

When writing the media release and being involve in the euphoric process of recruitment, I do forget one crucial aspect, NEWSWORTHINESS.

Perhaps for AIESEC, it was one of the most important process for the good function of the organisation, but how far is it important outside the AIESEC world.

I have my first disappointment when a journalist told me that she cannot publish our article because it was not enough newsworthy. But fortunately this disappointment became one of my best experience that is: NEVER OVERESTIMATE YOUR NEWS

Until then, take care.
