When Paper Is Far From Reality

Hello dear friends,

First of all i want to thank you, for taking time to read my post.

This time i will let you have a glimpse on a project am actually working on, and which will be implemented next year.

Like every year, AIESEC have numerous projects which aim at creating social impact on society. This year i have decided to create a new project name: "RainBow`Child", which is a musical.

The project aim is to put on stage children from different NGO. Why? because most of these children are often victim of stereotyping. In addition, this project will aim at demonstrating to the Mauritian population that these children they too have great potentials, and at the same time give these children the opportunity to explore and develop their potentials.

I think that the nicer part so long  is the writing down of the project. Nice task indeed, because since i join university we have submitted various projects and that every semester. But never, have I imagine that implementing a project requires soo much work.

Soo far i have learn many things, one of them is fiction is sometime far from reality. However, the biggest challenge remains to raise sponsor.

During these three years, we have not been prepared to deal with such issues, that`s when you are catch up with the harsh reality of life, which is to deal with companies in order to get sponsorship. That`s when you realise that, when its involves money companies are sometime more reluctant to give. Hopefully i discovered the Pandora`s box called corporate social responsibility.

Till next post. Cheers.
Cecilia
