Above and Beyond

Hello everyone,

As things come to an end in life, we always refer to some nostalgic point, bringing us back to our roots for some time. At the end of my internship, I started to come to some reflections about the person I was before and after doing my placement and it made me smile because every though came to be above my initial expectations and clearly beyond my fears.

To start, this internship has brought me so much in terms of human relationships. I grew by learning business ethics through respect and corporate values. I became friends with some of my colleagues and learnt how to work in teams while adapting to the environment and their personality. I am more confident and able to stand independently to take decisions without having doubts on my position and underestimating my abilities.

In terms of skills, I learnt organization and planning and am now able to analyze situations and make better reflections on various situations, based on my learning theories and experience gained at work. Yet, I have so much to learn from the industry. The difference now is that I feel more confident to take the step through.

What I can advice you is to take every opportunity to learn and challenge yourself to be better through. Stay confident because if you have reached this internship, it means that you have the potential to progress. Just have the will and the gut to stand out because that's what PR practitioners need to have and I believe each day is another challenge to prove that.

I wish you all the best through and thank you for having followed my blog.
